Say hi to Doah Senyilmaz, a 13th year BWMC student pursuing his Associate of Science. Doah plans on transferring the credits he has earned through the Blue Water Middle College to a four-year university where he can earn his Bachelor's degree and become a physical therapist.

"The Blue Water Middle College has given me so much financial stability, just knowing that I made a good financial decision makes me feel more secure in my future. It’s also great to have college classes with friends that graduated before me."

Quote: "The option of doing college in high school is the best choice I have made. I've gotten so far with this program, not only in education but meeting new people and having new experiences that have shaped me into who I am today.
I plan to complete the surgery tech program at Macomb after I graduate in May.

SC4 instructors will begin posting Early Alert grades on Monday, October 6. A Blue Water Middle College staff member will contact any student earning a C- or lower (including “U” grades). We’ll share strategies and connect you with resources to help you succeed. The entire Blue Water Middle College team is here to support you. If you’re struggling in one or more classes, this is not the time to withdraw - it's the time to regroup, connect with your instructor, use available resources, and put a plan in place to get back on track.

Welcome Back! Today, August 25th, 2025, is the start of the Fall 2025 semester at SC4.
Our BWMC students made a campus visit to Michigan State University recently. They received a guided tour of the campus and a presentation about MSU. The BWMC is a great option for students to earn college credit while still in high school, before transferring to a four-year university like MSU.
