Researching Colleges

Many Blue Water Middle College students plan to earn a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university  after graduating from St. Clair County Community College. 

The sooner a student knows what college they expect to attend after SC4, the better decisions they can make when it comes to choosing classes that will transfer and count toward their bachelor's degree program at the new school. 

However, ...  You do not have to narrow the list down to just one future college.  In fact, it is better not to narrow it down to just one until you are well into your final year in the middle college and have applied to several possible future schools.  Your final decision will likely depend on several factors that you will not know until then.

Creating your "short list" of future colleges should begin as soon as possible.  Here are some things to think about as you begin researching future colleges.
