Request Transcripts
As a middle college student who has taken multiple college courses, new colleges and universities will likely ask for your college (SC4) or high school (BWMC) transcript. Below is information about the two transcripts and how to request them. It is important to understand the difference between each one and which one is being requested by the new schools.Your College Transcript
Requesting Your High School Transcript
Your High School Transcript
The Blue Water Middle College (BWMC) is your high school of record. Your high school transcript must come from the middle college. The transcripts available from partner high schools will be incomplete and do not include your graduation date.
The fastest way to send your BWMC transcript is digitally through the Parchment website. Access to Parchment is set up and demonstrated at the beginning of grade 13. If you need access earlier than that, contact Mr. Ruiz at ruiz.matthew@sccresa.org.
Requesting your BWMC transcript via parchment:
- Go to parchment.com.
- Log in using your SC4 email address using the password you chose when setting up your parchment account.
- Follow the steps to order your transcript to be sent to the college(s) you want.
- BWMC staff will be notified of your request and will confirm that the transcript in the parchment system is your most up-to-date transcript. We will then approve it to be sent to the college(s).
- A digital copy of your transcript will be sent to the college where it will be available almost immediately for download.
- You can check on the status of the order by going into the History section of the parchment.com site. The delivery is finalized when it says that the college has downloaded your transcript.
Future colleges will need your St. Clair County Community College (SC4) transcript as proof of the following:
- The college courses you have taken
- The number of credit hours for each course
- The grades you received for your college courses
- Confirmation of satisfying all requirements of the Michigan Transfer Agreement, if applicable
- Confirmation of any/all degrees or certificates you earned at SC4
- Other honors you have earned as an SC4 student
